Walking Holidays and Private Tours
Picnics are included in the price of all of our walking holidays and we are also happy to provide them for our tours as well on request. Below you will find a menu of our sandwich and cake choices and below that, a form for you to complete for the first four days of your holiday if you have already booked with us. We will take your order for any further days once you arrive. Please be sure to let us know of any food allergies. (This is especially important as our food is prepared in a kitchen which handles nuts and wheat.)
Cakes
All our cakes are home-made using Wessex Mill flour, local free-range eggs and local or at least British ingredients wherever possible.
Sticky Ginger Cake
A delicious, sticky ginger cake made to an old family recipe
Rich Cherry Cake
A Madeira-style cake with glace cherries
Dorset Apple Cake
A traditional Dorset favourite made with our own Bramley apples when in season, sultanas and a touch of cinnamon
Courgette Cake
Sounds strange, tastes delicious! A traditional English tea-bread with an unusual twist. Home-grown courgettes in season with sultanas and chopped nuts, spread with salted butter
Flapjack
Our own buttery, chewy flapjack recipe made with butter, syrup and Scottish oats
Crisps
A packet of sea salt and cracked black pepper crisps, from Burt's in Devon
(the closest to made in Dorset we could find!)​
