Price includes accommodation at a comfortable inn, breakfast and tours (excluding entrance fees) and are based on two people sharing.  We can also book lunch and dinner and arrange transfers from airports and stations at additional cost.

ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrive at your accommodation and settle in.

Day 2 - Visit to Athelhampton House, a historic Tudor house with five acres of gardens including four formal gardens and a working kitchen garden.

Day 3 - Visit to Kingston Lacy near Wimborne, a lavish family home re-imagined as a Venetian Palace in the rural Dorset countryside.

Day 4 - Visit Mapperton House, the nation's finest Manor House where their mission is ‘wellbeing through connection with heritage, nature and community’. Award-winning gardens and a re-wilding project add to the day.

Day 5 - Today we sneak over the border to Wiltshire to visit the truly magnificent Stourhead house and gardens. One of the first grand Paladian houses to be built in England, with world-famous landscaped gardens with its temples, grotto, lake and surprising vistas.

Day 6 - Today we head to the far west of Dorset to visit medieval Forde Abbey. Explore the ancient buildings and gardens and wonder at the 160 water fountain - the highest in the country.

Day 7 - Head home after a hearty breakfast.
