Poole Harbour Winter Safari Cruises

30th January - 5th March 2024

In winter, Poole Harbour is an important haven for over 25,000 waders and waterfowl, finding refuge during the harshest months of the year. Divers, grebes, scarce sea duck and waders congregate in the sheltered bays and estuaries, while raptors take advantage of their numbers. Regular trips from Poole Harbour go in search of the "Big Five" (White-tailed Eagle, Marsh Harrier, Peregrine, Hen Harrier and Goshawk) and offer a brilliant opportunity to encounter and familiarise yourself a wide range of our winter visitors.
